Project brief
In a group of FIVE (5) members, students are required to conduct a precedent study of an existing or conceptual shelter, tent design, pod design, treehouse or any simple structure which the sizes can be fitted to a person. The detailed study of precedent study may consist of concept idea, function, user, design principle, form, shape, opening, technology/construction, colours and surface material. Each member need to come out of their own precedent study, combine and brainstorming all the information in which it leads to the best selection of your research (upon tutor’s approvals).
In addition to it, students are required to conduct an anthropometric study where the student need measure their own body with different postures such as standing, sitting, laying down, squatting and etc. The student need to reflect their understanding of human scale and dimension in their precedent study.
