After our trip in Chengdu, we took one day to travel to Chongqing, and had our stay at Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street (解放碑步行街).
Day 6
We visited the Chong Qing Technology and Business Institute (CQTBI) 重庆工商学院 which has previously visited our campus, and had some cultural activities with students there. The students were quite shocked to the fact that we can speak in Chinese very well and our ancestors managed to pass the Chinese culture along generations until now. As a Malaysian Chinese, I am also proud of myself to be able to speak the same language as theirs and able to communicate with them without any language barrier.

After we returned from the institute, we went to visit a well-known tourist attraction around Chongqing called Hong Ya Cave (洪崖洞). It is known for the pagoda lights around the cave, and it is called "the city of lights". Along the way, we also saw some interesting architecture.
Day 7
We went to the Three Gorges Museum (三峡博物馆) early in the morning, and too our lunch near People's Square (人民大礼堂). After that, we took our free time to explore around Chongqing. We visited the Huguang Guild Hall (湖广会馆) until evening, and went back to Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street and have a hotpot feast.
Day 8
On the last day of our trip at Chongqing. we went to another famous tourist attraction at a very ancient town called Ci Qi Kou (磁器口). Despite the place was ancient, it was modified to become a somewhat modern town with its creative architecture. We were fascinated by the architecture of Chaotianmen Square (朝天门广场) and had our lunch there, and we went to the East Water Gate (东水门). We ended our journey at Eighteen Stairs (十八梯) with our last cup of tea.
Day 9
We went back to Malaysia and to our homes...we enjoyed a wonderful and memorable trip!
