Year 2 Semester 2 Relief Presentation Board (Group Work)

Project brief

1. In group of 4-5 students, you need to choose a building in either Chengdu or

Chongqing to do a case study.

2. The building that you choose can be either modern or traditional building and

must have an architectural value in it. (Kindly show the proposal of the building

before proceed).

3. Student should do background studies that includes the historical, designers,

architectural elements and style of the selected buildings.

4. The observations of the building shall be focusing on building form, colour and

texture, as well as details such as space planning, construction joints, material and

finishes, opening and façade treatments and any interesting interior/architectural

features.
